SOOOO Sexy

It seems like sheer was a continuing trend in many of the Fall RTW collections.  The trend was seen at Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Emanuel Ungaro, Givenchy, Valentino  and came in many forms. Whether it be sheer prints, or skits or dresses it seems like this trend is here to stay.

Stella McCartney used sheer fabric and constructed skin tight dresses with polka dots embellishments.  The designers showed various looks in this collection as well but sheer was an overriding theme

Marc Jacobs showed fully sheer dresses and skirts at Louis Vuitton. The collection was uber Sexy especially with the addition of the corset seen in the pic below .

I particularly enjoyed Emanuel Ungaro's Fall RTW collection , despite its  mixed reviews.  I loved the sheer tight fitting  dresses, intense furs and the overall sexiness of the collection. These dresses where some of my favorite and while they  can't be worn by all, they are truly works  of art.

Ricardo Tisci is one of my favorite designers. I love most if not all of his collections for Givenchy. This year the designer showed sheer tops and skirts worn under mini skirts or decorated with cat prints and tiny embellishments  He also included sheer tops and pant suits.

At Chloe there were two  sheer dresses,  one was a reptile  print  and the other  was  a brown bohemian style dress with sheer arms. While  these dresses weren't completely sheer   they still exhibited a hint of sexiness.

Valentino designer duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli have done a lot for the historic house by  making it New  again.  In the past, Valentino has always been looked at a brand for women over 30 but not anymore!  The designers have managed to appeal to a younger demographic with  their daring designs that give the brand a hip new edge.  This season the designers showed many sheer lace pieces and dresses  embellished with roses and various appliques.  The dresses were magical and I'm sure that we will be seeing them on various  red carpets in the near future.

Despite rumors that he will be replaced, YSL designer, Stephano Pilati was able to exhibit a wonderful collection. The collection ranged from plaid fitted suits of various lengths and forms to white dresses in sheer forms and an mind blowing sheer look worn by super model Freja Beha Erichsen. I loved the collection and look forward  to seeing more of Mr. Pilati's designs.
