  So I choose this Alexa Chung pic because I think it  is a good depiction of her style. Its weird, its quirky and its very unique,  you either like it  or you don't! 

The next pic is of  Abigail Spencer, she is an actress and I love her retrosuperfuture glasses. I've been looking for them online but they seem to be  sold out :(  Hopefully, I'll spot them in some random boutique in NYC !

These are some old pics that my friend took of me but I like them so I decided to put them up !
The blazer is an old schoolboys blazer that I bought at a local thrift store, the jumper and Fur vest are from Forever21 and the camel booties are by Via Spiga.

 The Olsen Twins are my style Icons and these are the reasons why; 

1. The twins wear whatever they want , when they want,  and never look as if they've been styled from head to toe 

       I think these days many people confuse having a stylist with being stylish.  Not everyone has great style and  I just appreciate  people that do. 

2. They are successful businesswomen 

Just look at the success of their three lines; The ROW ,  Elizabeth and James and Oslenboye. The lines are sold at MAJOR retailers with each line appealing  to specific target markets .

3.  Great writers 

Mary-Kate and Ashley  released a book titled  Influence  in 2008 and it is one of my favorites reads of all time.  The book is a collage of interviews from some of various people that the twins look up to from Diane Von Furtsenberg to Karl Lagerfield to Lauren Hutton. This book gave me a lot of inspiration and instilled a great sense of self in me- I encourage everyone to read it.  

4. Named girls of the Decade by Style.com 
Literally, what would the decade be without the Olsen twins (fashion wise),  I mean they are the modern day Onassis sisters in my opinion. 

My Gift To Myself

I've started to realize that as I get older my X-mas gifts have stared to get a lot smaller. Although, this  can be attributed to the weak economy,  amongst other things,  either way my gifts aren't what they used to be.  However, I've been watching these boots on Toryburch.com for about 4 months and today I finally purchased them for about half off .  I love a good sale and I track them like investors track stock prices .

Il Primo

  For my first post I wanted to post something vibrant and fun... hence this Hot pink dress by Sonia Rykiel for H&M that I bought in Firenze, Italy. The shoes are Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots in distressed leather and the jacket is vintage Liz Claiborne. The Lita boots  are almost 6 inches  but they are  sooooo comfortable in fact, when they first arrived, I wore them for 2 weeks straight :)
